ARGENTINA FLY FISHING 5 DAY & 7 DAY ON RIO SEGILO

Day 1 - Arrive in Bariloche, your Esquel Outfitters guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Lodge El Trebol in Cholila. Travel time to Cholila is 2 ½ hours. Dinner served at El Trebol, overnight there.

Day 2 - Float fish the Rio Rivadavia in Los Alerces National Park. Overnight at El Trebol.

Day 3 - Float/Camp Rio Segilo. You will begin a 4 day float through over 60 miles of private water. You will be comfortably accommodated for the length of the trip with warm showers, private latrines, comfortable cots and mattresses and fine wine and cuisine in the remotes of Argentina.

Day 4 - Float/Camp Rio Segilo.

Day 5 - Float/Camp Rio Segilo.

Day 6 - Float Rio Segilo and transfer to Estancia La Elvira on the Rio Gualjaina. Travel time to the Estancia is 25 minutes.

Day 7 - Walk/wade over 20 miles of private water on the Gualjaina River.

Day 8 - Walk/wade private spring creek Arroyo Pescado. Travel time to Arroyo Pescado from the estancia is 10 minutes.

Day 9 - Shuttle to Bariloche for Departing flights.


ARGENTINA FLY FISHING 7-9 DAY WITHOUT RIO SEGILO

Day 1 - Arrive in Bariloche, where your Esquel Outfitters guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to Lodge El Trebol in Cholila. Travel time to Cholila is 2 ½ hours. Dinner served at El Trebol, overnight there.

Day 2 - Float fish the Rivadavia, located in Los Alerces National Park. Your first day of fly fishing will include floating this beautiful river and walk/wading a couple small spring creeks.

Day 3 - Walk/wade the Rio Segilo on a private estancia with 55 miles of private access water.

Day 4 - Float fish the Rio Arrayanes and Lago Verde in Los Alerces National Park. You will start the day fishing to the reeds and shoreline of Lago Verde. By the afternoon you will drop into the beginning of the Rio Arrayanes.

Day 5 - Transfer in the A.M. to Rio Gualjaina and our private estancia, La Elvira. This estancia has over 25 km of river. Travel time is approx 2 hours. After a full day of fishing you will stay at the estancia for the remainder of your trip.

Day 6 - Walk/wade the private spring creek Arroyo Pescado. Travel time from the estancia is 15 minutes.

Day 7 - Walk/wade another day on the Rio Gualjaina.

Day 8 - Float fish the Rio Grande or walk/wade the Gualjaina River.

Day 9 - Float fish the Rio Grande or walk/wade the private spring creek, Nant-y-Fall

Day 9 - Shuttle to Bariloche for Departing flights.

ARGENTINA FLY FISHING 10 DAY WITH RIO SEGILO

Day 1 - Arrive in Bariloche, your Esquel Outfitters guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to Lodge El Trebol in Cholila. Travel time to Cholila is 2 ½ hours. Dinner served at El Trebol, overnight there.

Day 2 - Float fish the Rivadavia, located in Los Alerces National Park. Your first day of fishing will include the floating this beautiful river and walk/wading a couple of small spring creeks.

Day 3 - Float fish the Rivadavia or Carrileufu. Depending on what is fishing best,we will either return for a second day on the Rivadavia to hit the water missed on day one or move to the Carrileufu, which meanders through the heart of the Cholila Valley.

Day 4 - Float/Camp Rio Segilo. You will begin a 4 day float through over 60 km of private water. You will be comfortably accommodated for the length of the trip with warm showers, private latrines, comfortable cots and mattresses and fine wine and cuisine in the remotes of Argentina.

Day 5 - Float/Camp Rio Segilo

Day 6 - Float/Camp Rio Segilo

Day 7 - Float Rio Segilo and Transfer to Estancia La Elvira on the Rio Gualjaina. Travel time to the estancia is 25 minutes.

Day 8 - Walk/wade over 20 miles of private water on the Gualjaina River.

Day 9 - Walk/wade private spring creek Arroyo Pescado. Travel time to Arroyo Pescado from the estancia is 10 minutes. After fishing, you will shuttle to the Rio Pico. Travel time is approx. 2 ½ hours.

Day 10 - Fish Lago Tres and/or Rio Pico. Rio Pico is a small willow-lined river that is primarily walk/wading and stalking fish. Lago Tres is a small lake that inevitably yields the largest fish of every trip.

Day 11- Fish Lago Tres and/or Rio Pico.

Day 12 - Shuttle to Bariloche for departing flights.


ARGENTINA AND CHILE FLY FISHING 7 DAY

6-Full days fishing, 5-Nigths in Chile, 2-Nights in Argentina

Day 1 - Depart for Santiago, Chile.

Day 2 - You arrive in Santiago, Chile, early in the morning. An Esquel Outfitters representative will meet you at the airport and provide a transfer to your hotel.

Day 3 - We will provide a transfer from your hotel to the domestic airport for your flight to Puerto Montt (flight time: 1 ½ hours). In Puerto Montt, a Patago staff member will meet you and assist you with your flight from Puerto Montt to Chiaten (flight time: 45 min). Upon arrival in Chiaten, you will be met by your fly fishing guides and, if time allows, you can fish that afternoon. (Overnight: Cavi)

Day 4 - Float-fish the Rio Yelcho. (Overnight: Angler's Futaleufu Cabin)

Day 5 - Fish Espolon Lake. (Overnight: Futaleufu Angler's Cabin)

Day 6 - Fish the lower Rio Futaleufu. (Overnight: Futaleufu Angler's Cabin)

Day 7 - Border crossing to Argentina. Float-fish the lower Rio Grande. (Overnight: Esquel, Argentina)

Day 8 - Walk/wade the Rio Gualjaina, over 25 miles of private water.

Day 9 - Fish the famous Spring Creek, Arroyo Pescado. (Overnight: Esquel, Argentina)

Day 10 - Transfer to the Esquel Airport. Depart for home.

Day 11 - Arrive Home.


CHILE FLY FISHING 5-7 DAY

7-nights, 6 full days fishing

Day 1 - Depart your hometown for Miami. At the Miami International Airport you connect with your international flight to Santiago, Chile (8 hour flight from Miami). (Overnight on the plane)

Day 2 - You arrive in Santiago, Chile, early in the morning. If you request, an Esquel Outfitters representative can meet you at the airport and provide a transfer to your hotel. (Overnight - Hotel Carrera ) Please note: The hotel cost is not included.

Day 3 - If requested, we will provide a transfer from your hotel to the domestic airport for your flight to Puerto Montt (flight time - 1 ½ hours). In Puerto Montt, Esquel Outfitters staff will meet you and assist you with your flight from Puerto Montt to Chiaten (flight time - 45 min). Upon arrival in Chaiten you will be met by your fly fishing guides and, if time allows, you can fish that afternoon. (Overnight - Cavi)

Day 4 - Float fish the Rio Yelcho. (Overnight -Futaleufu Angler's Cabin)

Day 5 - Fish the lowest section of the Futaleufu. (Overnight - Futaleufu Angler's Cabin)

Day 6 - Fish Espolon Lake. (Overnight - Futaleufu Angler's Cabin)

Day 7 - Float a remote section of the Futaleufu. (Overnight - Futaleufu Angler's Cabin)

Day 8 - Float fish the Rio Espolon. (Overnight - Futaleufu Angler's Cabin)

Day 9 - Float fish the lower Futaleufu. (Overnight - Futaleufu Angler's Cabin)

Day 10 - Transfer from the Angler's cabin to the Chiaten Airport. Flight from Chiaten to Puerto Montt then on to Santiago. After arriving in Santiago, you then connect on to Miami. (Overnight- on plane)

Day 11 - Arrive home.
